हिंदी माध्यम के UPSC अभ्यर्थी अक्सर यह जानना चाहते हैं कि हम सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी के दौरान क्या पढें और क्या ना पढें। यहां हमने इस अर्टिकल के माध्यम से UPSC Toppers की समझ, अध्ययन और अनुभव के आधार पर उपयोगी पुस्तकों व अन्य स्त्रोतों की सूची तैयार की है और आशा है कि यह जानकारी आपको इस परीक्षा की सही तैयारी करने मे अवश्य मदद करेगी। हम सभी यह जानते हैं कि इस परीक्षा की तैयारी के लिये किताबें ही हमारा प्राइमरी सोर्स हैं तो सबसे पहले हम सामान्य अध्ययन के अंतर्गत आने वाले भागों के बारे में और उनके लिये उपयोगी पुस्तकों के बारे में बतायेंगे। इतिहास के लिये कक्षा नौ (9th) से लेकर कक्षा बारह (12th) तक की NCERT किताबें व स्पेक्ट्रम की "आधुनिक भारत का संक्षिप्त इतिहास" और बिपिन चंद्रा की "आजादी के बाद का भारत" पुस्तकें उपयोगी होंगी। ध्यान रहे कि नये सिलेबस में स्वतंत्रता के बाद के इतिहास के बारे में भी पूंछा जाता है तो यदि हो सके तो रामचंद्र गुहा की "भारत गांधी के बाद" का भी अध्ययन कर सकते हैं। भूगोल के लिये भी कक्षा नौ (9th) से लेकर बारह (12th) तक की NCERT किताबें और यदि इसके बाद भी आवश्यकता पड़े तो महेश बर्णवाल या माजिद हुसै की किताबों से अधययन किया जा सकता है। राज्यव्यवस्था की तैयारी के लिये हम एम० लक्ष्मीकांत की "भारतीय राज्यव्यवस्था" और मेन्स एग्जाम के पेपर - 2 के लिये "भारतीय शासन" पढ़ सकते हैं जिसमें की अधिकार संबंधी मुद्दों को ध्यान से पढ़े। अर्थव्यवस्था भाग के लिये रमेश सिंह अथवा लाल एंड लाल की किताब, कक्षा नौ (9th) से लेकर बारह (12th) तक की NCERT किताबें और भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रकाशित "आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण" कि और "बजट" इत्यादि से तैयारे कर सकते हैं। पर्यावरण कि लिये NCERT का अध्ययन करें, साइंस रिपोर्टर, शंकर IAS कोचिंग के पर्यावरण नोट्स, पर्यावरण मंत्रालय की वेबसाइट (envfor.nic.in), इसके अतिरिक्त द हिंदू और इंडियन एक्सप्रेस अखबारों की मदद भी ले सकते हैं। विज्ञान व प्रौद्योगिकी को तैयार करने के लिये छ्ठवीं (6th) से दसवीं (10th) Class की NCERT की किताबें तथा विज्ञान व प्रौद्योगिकी से जुड़े करंट अफ़ेयर्स (Current Affairs) जैसे कि विज्ञान व प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में क्या विकास हो रहा है इस तरह के विषयों से जुडे सवालों की तैयारी हम न्यूजपेपर्स या वेबसाईटों के माध्यम कर सकते हैं। भारतीय संस्कृति के लिये पुष्पा बिष्ट सिन्हा की किताब है जो कि जवाहर बुक डिपो (दिल्ली) द्वारा प्रकाशित है तथा इस अतिरिक्त एनसीईआरटी (NCERT) की फाईन आर्ट की किताब से भारतीय कला का इतिहास पढ़ सकते हैं। आंतरिक सुरक्षा मुख्य परीक्षा का एक टापिक है और इसके लिये टाटा मैक्ग्रा हिल की एक किताब है जो अशोक कुमार आईपीएस और विपुल कुमार द्वारा लिखी गई है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संबंध के लिये किसी भी अच्छी कोचिंग व टीचर के नोट्स से तैयारी की जा सकती है और साथ ही साथ विदेश मंत्रालय की वेबसाईट जो कि mea.gov.in है तथा करंट अफ़ेयर से भी इस भाग तैयारी अच्छे से की जा सकती है। भारतीय समाज की तैयारी के लिये श्याम चरण दुबे लिखित एक पतली सी किताब है जो कि नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट (nbtindia.gov.in) द्वारा प्रकाशित है या फिर राम आहूजा की, इसके अलावा ग्यारहवीं (11th) और बारहवीं (12th) Class की NCERT समाजशास्त्र की किताबें पढ़ें। एथिक्स मेन्स परीक्षा पेपर - 4 के लिये मनोविज्ञान की NCERT पुस्तकें पढ़ें पर ध्यान रहे कि इसे बहुत गहराई से नहीं पढ़ना है, क्योंकि इनमे दर्शनशास्त्र का भी भाग रहता है। देखा जाये तो इस विषय की तैयारी किसी विशेष किताब से नही की जा सकती किन्तु यदि आप कुछ प्रमुख और अच्छे लेखक या प्रशासनिक विचारकों (Administrative Thinkers) की Philosophy जैसे भारतीय दर्शन में गांधी जी इत्यादि देखें तो इसमें काफी मदद मिल सकती है। निबंध की तैयारी के लिये एक किताब है दृष्टि प्रकाशन से "निबंध दृष्टि" जो कि डा० विकास दिव्यकीर्ति व निशांत जैन द्वारा लिखित है और इसमें तकरीबन 150 माडल निबंध हैं जो इस भाग की तैयारी में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देंगे। करंट अफेयर्स इस परीक्षा की तैयारी का एक महत्वपूर्ण भाग है मुख्यत: प्रारंभिक परीक्षा तथा मेन परीक्षा में भी अधिकांश प्रश्न इस भाग से पूंछे जा रहे हैं। और इसकी उचित प्रकार से तैयारी के लिये कुछ प्रमुख अखबार हैं जैसे - द हिंदू, दैनिक जागरण (राष्ट्रीय संस्करण), नई दुनिया, दैनिक भास्कर से भी उपयोगी सामग्री पढ़ सकते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त बिज़नेस स्टैण्डर्ड जो हिंदी में भी उपलब्ध है उसके आर्थिक मुद्दे व सम्पादकीय पृष्ठ को पढ़ सकते हैं। UPSC IAS Mains Solved Papers:- किसी भी Exam में सफलता के लिये Previous Year Solved Paper का बिशेष योगदान होता है , इसकी सहायता से आप जान पाते हैं कि Exam में किस तरह से Questions पूंछे जाते हैं , जिसकी सहायता से हम अपनी तैयारी को सही तरीके से कर पाते हैं , और किसी भी Subjects को उस Point of View से पढ पाते हैं , जिस तरह उसके Questions हमारी परीक्षा में आते हैं !! तो Mains परीक्षा के लिये Disha Expert Team द्वारा तैयार किये गये Solved Paper को ले सकते हैं ! जिसमें कि पिछले 7 Years ( 2014से 2020 ) के Solved Paper दिये गये हैं ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- English Translation:- Hindi medium UPSC aspirants often want to know what to read and what not to read while preparing for civil services exam. As we all know that books are our primary source for the preparation of this exam, first of all we will tell about the parts which come under General Studies and about the useful books for them. For History, NCERT Books from Class IX (9th) to Class XII (12th) and Spectrum's "A Brief History of Modern India" and Bipin Chandra's "Post-Independence India" books will be useful. Keep in mind that the new syllabus also asks about post-independence history, so if possible, you can also study Ramachandra Guha's "India After Gandhi". For Geography also, NCERT books from class nine (9th) to 12th (12th) and if needed after that, one can study from the books of Mahesh Barnwal or Majid Hussain. For preparation of polity we can read "Indian Polity" by M. Laxmikant and "Indian Governance" for Mains Exam Paper-2 in which read the rights related issues carefully. For the economy part, one can prepare from Ramesh Singh or Lal & Lal's book, NCERT books from class nine (9th) to 12th (12th) and "Economic Survey" published by the Government of India and "Budget" etc. Study NCERT for Environment, Science Reporter, Environment Notes of Shankar IAS Coaching, Environment Ministry website (envfor.nic.in), Apart from this one can also take help of The Hindu and Indian Express newspapers. To prepare science and technology, NCERT books of class 6th (6th) to 10th (10th) class and current affairs related to science and technology such as what is happening in the field of science and technology such as We can prepare questions related to the subjects through newspapers or websites. For Indian Culture there is book by Pushpa Bisht Sinha which is published by Jawahar Book Depot (Delhi) and in addition one can read History of Indian Art from NCERT's Fine Art book. For the preparation of Indian society, there is a thin book written by Shyam Charan Dubey which is published by National Book Trust (nbtindia.gov.in) or Ram Ahuja, besides NCERT for Class XI (11th) and XII (12th) Read sociology books. Read NCERT Books on Psychology for Ethics Mains Exam Paper 4 but keep in mind that it is not to be read very deeply, as there is a part of philosophy in it. If seen, the preparation of this subject cannot be done from any particular book, but if you see the Philosophy of some prominent and good writers or administrative thinkers like Gandhiji in Indian Philosophy, then it can help a lot. There is a book for the preparation of essay "Essay Drishti" from Drishti Prakashan which is written by Dr. Vikas Divyakirti and Nishant Jain and contains about 150 model essays which will contribute significantly in the preparation of this part. Current Affairs is an important part of the preparation of this exam, mainly in Preliminary Exam and Main Exam also most of the questions are being asked from this section. And for its proper preparation there are some major newspapers like - The Hindu, Dainik Jagran (National Edition), Nayi Duniya, Dainik Bhaskar can also read useful material. Apart from this, you can read the economic issues and editorial page of Business Standard which is also available in Hindi.
